FEZ

Fez is the third biggest city of Marocco. In its old part, you can find a great maze Medina, where you can get lost in and feel set back in time. The Medina itself is part of UNESCO world heritage. Walk through the narrow streets, where only donkey carts are used for the transport of goods. There is a big number of original handicraft to admire. You can be a witness of every step of the process: how the leather is made in the tanneries, follow it to the afternoon market where it is sold and finally you can go and buy the e.g. bag while seeing how it is finished. But not only leather goods can be admired, also traditional copper ware, Zelij or textiles are manufactured in front of you. We have never seen so much traditional hand made high-quality skills centered in one place.
